As Chief Legal Officer, Vitale oversees Beacon’s legal department and fulfillment of its mission to advise the company on corporate, regulatory and legal matters. She provides counsel to Beacon’s Board of Directors, senior management and business units, and strategizes with other members of Beacon’s C-Suite to support innovative business solutions, optimize risk, and maximize growth opportunities. Vitale develops and aligns legal and business strategies in order to build a strong corporate culture and achieve Beacon’s corporate vision and goals. She leads the corporate legal strategy and delivery of legal services, while cultivating Beacon’s relationships with government, community and business leaders.
Before joining Beacon Mutual, Vitale previously practiced law at Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP. During her tenure, she represented Rhode Island and Massachusetts state-chartered financial institutions, national banks, and other mortgage banking and consumer finance entities. She provided counsel to Rhode Island and Massachusetts insurance companies, agents and brokers with regard to corporate, licensing, regulatory and other compliance and contract issues. She also advised clients regarding commercial real estate matters.

Vitale holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Providence College and a Law Degree from The George Washington University School of Law.
